DUE TO COVID-19 WE HAVE NEW PROTOCOLS IN PLACE. SOME OF OUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION ANSWERS MAY NOT APPLY DURING THIS TIME.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL.
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: DURING COVID-19 WE ARE APPOINTMENT ONLY. Normally we accept walk-in consultations and depending on artist availability we try to accommodate walk-ins for smaller tattoos. Appointments are required for larger pieces and may need to be scheduled out several weeks in advance depending on the complexity of the design. We do NOT book appointments by phone.
Q: How much will my tattoo cost?
A: Tattoo pricing depends on the size, placement and how much detail your design consists of. Our artists are providing you with a superior product, a one-of-a-kind tattoo, so we go by an hourly rate of $150 an hour (e.g. 2hrs = $300). Overall, the actual tattooing time will determine the final pricing. At best, the artist will give you a rough estimate before hand. The actual session time will be easier to determine once the session actually start.
If you are looking into having a large piece done, keep in mind that it may not be finish in just one long session. The artist may recommend breaking it down into multiple sessions. The tattoo will be better in the long run with this process. The ink will heal and age the same with one session or multiple sessions. It is same hourly rate for the large pieces, $150 an hour. You can either pay part of it ahead of time if you are able to do so but otherwise, payment is applied at the end of each session. Deposits are required for larger pieces requiring draw time. The deposit will come off the final price of your tattoo.
We are willing to work with you to stay within a particular budget if you let us know ahead of time, especially during the consultation. This way the artist can try to gauge how long a particular design will take to tattoo.
Q: Can I get a tattoo under the age of 18?
A: NO. In the state of Texas it is illegal to tattoo a minor even with parental consent. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q: How old do I have to be to get a piercing?
A: Minimum ages for our shop are as follows. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to bring the documentation discussed in the next question
All other ear piercings: 13+
Tongue / Lip: 18+
Q: What documents are needed for a minor to be pierced?
A: We require a photo ID for both the minor and parent AND the minor’s birth certificate. For minors without a permit or license we accept passports, government identification cards, school IDs, or rec center passes. Only a parent or legal guardian (with proof of guardianship) may sign for a minor. No exceptions.
Q: How much do piercings cost
A: Our piercings start at $55 or $65 depending on which piercing you’re interested in. This price includes our basic titanium starter jewelry. You can choose to upgrade your jewelry for an additional charge.
Q: What type of jewelry do you use?
A: All our piercing jewelry is implant grade titanium or niobium. These metals are nickel free and hypoallergenic. Many of our piercings use hollow labret posts with interchangeable decorative toppers (no L-bends or corkscrews for noses so you don’t have to worry about them falling out easily).
Q: Can I be pierced with my own jewelry?
A: No. Most store bought jewelry is not the proper gauge or length needed for a new piercing. We cannot guarantee the type of metal used either. We are happy to help you change your piercings out to your personal jewelry once the initial healing time is done.
Q: I have a bump near my piercing. What should I do?
A: Do not remove your jewelry. The bump is most likely temporary and we are happy to have you trouble shoot. Come in to the shop and let our piercer take a look!
